Laura Backeberg



Laura is  a self-taught digital illustrator from Brighton, inspired by the city, nature and where they intersect. 

 Laura loves crafts and experimenting with a range of traditional mediums including printmaking, collage, ink and pencil, and try’s to keep some of the spontaneity of these in her digital illustrations. Her other interests include archaeology, architecture, vintage design, and nature.

 Laura has created editorial illustrations for Vice and Breathe magazine, and enjoys private commissions. Laura also loves live music, enjoys designing gig posters and album covers.
