Home Educated Kids Art Club - Tuesday 3rd March at 10.30am.
Get inspired and hands-on with a series of fun, guided art workshops designed for young creators. Each session takes inspiration from an iconic artist, with step-by-step instruction, creative examples, and all materials provided. Sessions start with a creative challenge or ice breaker to get students thinking about relevant topical subjects.
Children will make, play, and explore their creativity in a fully supervised, relaxed, and supportive environment. We run small class sizes (up to 7) and plenty of individual guidance to help every student shine.
Session time: Every Tuesday term time, 10.30-12.00pm (1.5 hr session)
Workshop Line-Up (2026)
Week 2 | Tuesday 3rd March
Gaudí-Inspired Mosaic Lizards
The session will start with a drawing exercise to explore lizard forms, then create vibrant foam mosaic lizard artworks inspired by Antoni Gaudí.
Week 3 | Tuesday 10th March
Picasso’s Cubist Portraits Students will design and decorate their own imaginative faces, experimenting with unusual features, bright patterns, and expressive styles.
Week 4 | Tuesday 17th March
Ceramic Flowers Workshop
Inspired by Yumiko Goto, create and decorate ceramic flowers inspired by nature and springtime.
Week 5 | Tuesday 24th March
Easter Crafts Special
Decoupage Easter eggs, make paper-craft spring egg baskets, and design Easter cards to take home.
Booking Information
Sessions can be booked as a 5 week half term course at £70 (£5 discount) or individual sessions for £15. Each weekly session is 90 minutes long (1.5hrs).
What To Expect
- Students should wear clothes that they can be messy with
- Water will be available on site
- Drinks and sweet treats including pastries and cakes re available to purchase from the Puzzle Bored cafe
- This is a fully supervised session with qualified teacher with DBS check

We know that home education thrives on flexibility and comfort, which is why our sessions are designed to be relaxed, inclusive, and welcoming for both students and families.
While one child takes part in the workshop, siblings and parents are invited to enjoy the café space, complete with snacks, drinks, and a lovely selection of puzzles to play. It’s a calm, creative setting where everyone can unwind, connect, and feel at home.
Although we offer a supervised drop of service, parents and guardians are also welcome to join in with the activities! Whether you’d like to get hands-on or simply take a break and observe, our sessions are designed to work around you and your child’s educational needs.

Join my friendly Sketchbook Club: a space to explore drawing and mixed media in a relaxed, social and creative setting. Each session focuses on playful sketchbook activities to help you reconnect with creativity, build confidence, and enjoy the process of making art.

About the Tutor
Rita Piglionica is an artist and educator who studied Fine Arts and Art Education in Italy, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Painting with a specialisation in oil painting and a Master’s degree in Art Education. Over the past six years, Rita has designed and delivered a wide range of art workshops, wellbeing sessions, and heritage-related projects, with a particular focus on using creativity as a tool for connection and self-expression.In her teaching, Rita combines her professional expertise with a gentle and inclusive approach, encouraging participants to progress at their own pace. She strongly believes in the transformative power of art and heritage to enhance wellbeing and deeply emphasises the joy of experimentation and discovery, rather than producing perfect results.

Screenwriter's Round Table - Wednesday 11th March at 6.30pm.
A regular screenwriting group, where we read screenplays written by our members - a table read - and give constructive feedback afterwards. The maximum script length is 15 pages - so please submit an excerpt if it is a longer script.
We will also read a synopsis, if you want to test an idea, at one page maximum, get group feedback and suggestions, and discuss screenwriting resources and books.

Mother & Daughter Tote Bag Painting Workshop - Thursday 12th March at 7pm
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a special Mother & Daughter Tote Bag Painting Workshop, the perfect way to spend quality time together while creating something beautiful and meaningful.
In this relaxed, beginner-friendly session, you’ll design and decorate your own reusable cotton tote bags using guided inspiration, playful prompts, and plenty of creative freedom.
