Come join us at Puzzle Bored for a hands-on experience in creating your own delicious and probiotic-rich kombucha, ginger beer, and fizzy sodas. We will start the workshop with a scientific talk on chemical processes in fermentation. You will learn about the benefits of good bacteria, how to prevent the growth of the bad ones, and discover different types of fermenting. You will then taste some of our fermented drinks, some carbonated and some not, to choose a type of drink you want to ferment at home.
We will make the first kombucha ferment together, and Katarina will explain about the secondary fermentation in brewing. There will be time to answer any questions you may have and at the end you'll take home a SCOBY in your first kombucha ferment.
