About the Tutor
Rita Piglionica is an artist and educator who studied Fine Arts and Art Education in Italy, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Painting with a specialisation in oil painting and a Master’s degree in Art Education. Over the past six years, Rita has designed and delivered a wide range of art workshops, wellbeing sessions, and heritage-related projects, with a particular focus on using creativity as a tool for connection and self-expression.
In her teaching, Rita combines her professional expertise with a gentle and inclusive approach, encouraging participants to progress at their own pace. She strongly believes in the transformative power of art and heritage to enhance wellbeing and deeply emphasises the joy of experimentation and discovery, rather than producing perfect results.
